The four sessions
Two parts: working with AI, then what happens under the hood. One idea runs through all four: context.
Part 1 · Working with AI
-
Session 1: Prompt Engineering
Prompting moved from tricks to clarity. Say the goal and what done looks like, give the context and one example, split big tasks, and let the model check its own work. Images in and out, too.
Context Your prompt is the context you write yourself.
-
Session 2: Context Engineering & Model Selection
What sits in the context (instructions, files, memory, history), why a bigger window is not better, and how to pick the right model and effort level for a task.
Context What to put in the context, and where it stops working.
Part 2 · Under the hood
-
Session 3: Pricing & Caching
What a long chat really costs and how caching cuts it, clicked through live in a simulator you can replay afterwards.
Context What context costs, and how caching reuses it.
-
Session 4: Agents & Agentic Effort
How agents loop through tools, when subagents help and when they only add cost, and a live demo of the newest agent modes. It ends with a post autopsy of real viral AI posts.
Context Subagents keep context apart so the main agent stays focused.
Who it is for
Not a from-zero course.
For developers, testers, designers, and product owners who already use AI in their work and want to get better at it. Every example and demo covers these roles, not only developers. We will not start from scratch.
There is a lot of AI content out there, like MCP is dead
or Prompt engineering is dead in 2026
, and much of it is not built on a deep understanding of the topic. It often confuses people more than it helps.
The goal: understand the AI agents you work with, and tell whether a post about AI is worth reading or a waste of time.
How the sessions run
Few slides, lots of live work.
- Live demos in Claude and ChatGPT. Every example works in both.
- One shared project across all four sessions, a checkout discount feature, seen as a tester, a product owner, a designer, and a developer.
- A myth buster in every session, checked against official sources.
- A one-page recap after each session, with references so you can check the sources yourself.
